MELISSIA SCHULZ
At Schulz Design + Build, we believe great design is about more than aesthetics — it’s about creating homes that are functional, personal, and built to support the way you live. Our goal is to make the design and construction process feel clear, collaborative, and exciting from start to finish.
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Oregon and am a NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer, one of the industry’s highest professional certifications. With over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial design and construction management, I bring both creative vision and technical expertise to every project.
What sets Schulz Design + Build apart is our integrated design-build approach. As both a designer and licensed General Contractor, I guide projects from the first design concepts through construction and final installation, helping create a more seamless experience and protecting the integrity of the design.
Most importantly, I believe great design should reflect the client — not just trends. Every project is tailored to your lifestyle, goals, and vision with an emphasis on trust, communication, and thoughtful detail.

SONJA CAPASSO
Our Project Designer, Sonja Capasso, is one-of-a-kind at Schulz Design. She was inspired by design since youth, and followed her journey since then. After attending Palm Beach State College in Florida, she earned her Associates in Science in Interior Design Technology. With more than 5+ years of experience in interior design, her true passion for rendering and drafting has led her to this wonderful position where she focuses on just that. In addition, she is dedicated to using organic, natural, and sustainable products. This has led to her accreditation with LEED AP ID+C. Although she is a perfectionist, she is not afraid to get her hands dirty on remodel projects. She is an all-hands-in professional and that’s what we love!
Sandy le
Sandy Le, our Administrative Assistant, helps in operations and communications. Her passion for interior design stems from her youth watching renovation and design projects. She has graduated with a double Masters Degree in Business Administration and Finance and has over 10 years of experience working in administration. With a background in Commercial Construction Project Management, Sandy is skilled in business administration, procurement and logistics. She loves working with design and we are happy to have her!
